Iberá Wetlands (Argentina)

One of the largest and most spectacular wetlands in the world, home to capybaras, caimans, marsh deer, and over 350 bird species.

Just 60 km from San Cosme y Damián, across the Paraná and into Argentina, lies this natural paradise. Here you can glide silently by boat through lagoons and marshes, walk along interpretive trails, and enjoy a picnic surrounded by untouched wilderness.

We suggest trying the local version of the traditional cheese bread “chipa,” which in argentina rivals the Paraguayan recipe.

The return trip in the afternoon offers not only visual memories but also a deep sense of connection with one of the planet’s most valuable ecosystems.
